Who manages the site and why
The portfolio is managed by Casimiro Ciancimino. Data is used to answer questions about his background, handle contact messages and monitor service operation and abuse. The site does not sell data or use it for advertising or profiling. Contact information is processed to reply to the request you choose to send.
When you use the chat
Your question, up to five previous completed exchanges and relevant passages from the resume, personal notes and painting catalog are sent to the AI provider to generate a response. Retrieval also uses a cloud embedding service.
Conversation memory
AI memory contains only the five latest completed exchanges and stays in the browser page memory. Back to the beginning, changing language and reloading clear it.
Cloud models
The configured provider is OpenAI: Vercel AI SDK is the library managing calls, not an additional recipient of messages. Generation uses store: false to avoid the response application-state storage provided by that API. This is not zero retention: the provider may keep security logs, normally up to 30 days under its policy, with exceptions. API data is not used for training by default. Nevertheless, avoid personal, health or financial information, credentials and confidential documents.
When you submit the contact form
The message and contact details are also forwarded to Casimiro’s Telegram bot chat. The form does not send the AI conversation to these recipients and never passes its fields to the LLM provider, embeddings, system prompt or AI memory. If you type those same details into the chat, however, they are processed as chat content.
Cookies and local storage
The site code installs no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies. Notice preferences are stored in localStorage for up to six months; sessionStorage remembers the welcome during the tab session. The Asteroids high score stays in localStorage until you clear browser data; it is not sent to the server or models. They contain no conversations or contact details. The Cookies panel can always be reopened from the footer.
